Wouldn’t your local church be so encouraged if between all the congregation, working together in our witness and preaching and generosity got to see one person come to faith every day.
Just one, between everyone, but every single day.
Over the next 30 years we could see just over 10,000 people come to faith.
Wow.
Okay, but 10,000 is not realistic for a local church right? One a day is not realistic. So how about this: Only one person in the church, just you, committed to a more intentional pursuit of disciple-making, and even then, only invested in one person for a whole year.
That might not turn many heads.
But what if that one person, having been properly and intentionally invested in, became obedient to the great commission and by year two joined the first in making another disciple.
So in year two, two of them set about investing their whole year into one person each, and then there were four...
Well, over the next 30 years we could see over one billion new disciples.
(Plug the numbers into excel if you don't believe me.)
I’d suggest you don’t worry about being one faithful disciple-maker investing in one person this year.
